December Photo Project year 5

I've done the December Photo Project on my blog for the last four years so I decided to take the plunge and do it again this year. Even though I've sadly neglected my blog of late, I really love this tradition and have such a good time looking back through past pics. So tomorrow, here we go!!

I'll also be posting on Instagram so if you follow me there, it'll be redundant. But since I think I'm probably down to about 2 readers here, I should be ok. ;)




The entire month of November

Not only have I hardly taken any pictures in November, the month flew by so fast I don't even remember it! Nick started a new job and had a couple of LOOOONG weeks as he was getting acclimated to it. We had Thanksgiving three times with family and enjoyed spending time with everyone, but I only got two pictures!

Here are a few pics from my phone this month.

Audrey and me at the park on a beautiful crisp fall day:

Audrey's portrait of Daddy. She had refused to draw people at school, just scribbling instead. Her teacher showed me her scribblings at school and I knew she COULD do it, just didn't want to. So I sat down with her and she drew this picture of Daddy for me. Then she said, "I'm all done!" and ran off to play. This girl just wants to move!!

A ride on the train at the mall with horsey. This has been The Month Of The Horse. Audrey is all about horses, especially white ones. She wants to ride them, see them, has several figurines of them that sleep with her and go everywhere with her. Can't say I'm hugely thrilled as someone who doesn't really like horses all that much, but whatever!

 It's been a pretty chilly month, unusual for November, but we've had a few pretty days where we could play outside. We took every opportunity to go outside when we could.

After Thanksgiving coma on the way home from Deedee and Granddad's house. She didn't stop moving the entire day, so when we strapped her in, zzzzzzzz!!

 Grandma and Audrey by the newly decorated tree. We're doing Christmas Lite this year with the decorations because so much of our stuff is in storage. But we did decorate the tree today. Audrey just loves all the ornaments. They are so tempting to little fingers, but we've hit a new milestone this year - no baby gate around it!! :)

October pics

These are a month late, but here are some Halloween pics. Audrey was an owl for Halloween. I made her costume and had so much fun doing it! We went trick-or-treating with her cousin Owen at Gigi and Papa's house, and Audrey would have gone all night! It was a blast!
